One year after graduating from KD Conservatory, I moved to the Philippines and started my own original band called Alchemy Band. We performed several times a week at local venues. Most of the band members were full-time college students and due to the overwhelming workload, some of the members could no longer keep up with performance demand. I was simultaneously performing with a well-known girl-group called SILK Party Band and eventually became a full-time member performing "Top 40" hits from the 70's to current, 6-7 times a week all over the Philippines. From there I moved to Portland, picked up the ukulele, and began to teach at a studio called Music World, where I worked with all ages and talents, and began songwriting and performing across the city. After that, I moved to Birmingham where I taught in a large lessons studio called Mason Music Studios, while continuing my own musical collaborations and compositions. I love Little Rock, and I am excited to be building a private studio here and helping my students become artists in their own right! Read More

I was born with an "educator" mindset, and began teaching early on in my personal music studies. I began teaching about 10 years ago, in 2010, after getting into my undergraduate studies for music performance. I have taught all levels and in many different settings: To-date I have taught ages 6 through 65. I have taught in formal school system classrooms, private music studios, community centers and at a student's home. For young beginners, I choose method books that contain fun songs. I also teach music theory through story telling.
