My methods are based in Suzuki as I am a strong believer that students musical capabilities can be developed regardless of their musical predispositions. For beginning students that have minimal background musical knowledge, I incorporate theory and aural skill trailing into the lessons to help the students learn to read their music and apply the theoretical and technical concepts learned in each class to the repertoire studied. I am a graduate from SAE institute with an A.A.S Degree in Sound Audio Engineer, which also qualify me to teach DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software like Protools, Ableton and more. I enjoy playing my Bass guitar, but my first love i think is playing drums. For beginning students I believe it's important for them to begin playing the first day. I get the students to make their first sound and teach the technique and theory as they learn their instrument. For beginning voice students I use the same method, but I like to use a song that the student knows. For students with experience I like to have them play or sing something they know and I evaluate that and I will work with them on that song and build their technique. Read More

I began teaching in college, when I began working with the Actors Training Center, a theatre training program for high school students in Wilmette. Since then, I developed my own studio of voice and piano students and now work at Allegro Music Center in Park Ridge as a piano and voice teacher.
