I began teaching voice lessons in 1995 while living in Los Angeles, CA. I worked with many production and management companies developing unsigned and signed artists. I started teaching one-on-one so the students could get the results for strengthening their voice. As I always say "Singing is Breathing" so the first exercise I teach is proper diaphragmatic breathing to increase vocal range. There are books for children level, as well as adult books, which may be accompanied by a workbook and a recital book. Depending on the students level, I try to accomplish completing 1-2 pages in the book each lesson. For voice lessons, I use a variety of vocal warm ups and breathing techniques to help students prepare for songs of their choice. Read More

I tailor a student's curriculum to their musical goals and needs, while making sure that I am instilling the fundamentals needed for pursuing music at the college scholarship level. Often this means scales, chords, arpeggios, music literacy, performance practice and listening skills. To accomplish this, I use standard materials that are often available online and are used by college and University music programs around the world.
