Having great teachers in my life has shaped my own approach to teaching. I discovered that when I was able to study what I was truly excited about, my capacity to learn and improve my craft increased exponentially! My teaching style is fun, focused, and efficient. I like to keep the environment positive and encouraging, as that is what helps a student progress the most! When a student first starts lessons, we establish a few goals to accomplish over the semester, such as "become more confident" or, "learn a foreign language piece". I have been teaching private lessons for 7 years part-time, and have been consistently teaching students full time for the last 3 and half years. I have taught at the prestigious Dallas School of Music, in Dallas, TX, and now am excited to join the Musika team. I have a strong foundation in classical and non-classical genres, so I've enjoyed teaching students of all skills levels, from 4 year old piano students, to 70 year old voice students, with many others in between.
