Mary started her professional music career at age 11, playing pipe organ. Since 1999, Mary has released her original music on the Internet. She has been invited to perform at music festivals and conferences across the United States. After years of releasing EPs, in 2010, Mary released her first full-length CD, "Eclectic." There's nothing more tedious than studying music that you can't stand - it's enough to turn students off to music altogether. I usually prefer a phone call or use the first lesson to guage the interest level, previous experience, and goals of the student and/or parents. I have used a variety of teaching books and methods, and will generally try to contour my methods to the needs of students while also keeping costs low. I do not often rquire students to purchase expensive music books, and prefer using repetoire and music directly relevant to students long and short-term goals. Read More
