There are often good lessons that go along with these pieces, and I pick pieces that are famous for good reason! For students of any level, it is useful to have a combination of repertoire that is more challenging, and pushes my students to see beyond their current skill level, as well as repertoire that allows them to enjoy the expression that is possible with their current skill level. One of my greatest pleasures is imparting the knowledge that I have gained through my ten plus years of study onto others. I personalize my teaching style to the needs and temperaments of my students. When instructing, I explain concepts in multiple ways, ensuring that no matter what learning style you are, that you will able to progress and achieve. My students find me to be energetic, warm and passionate, and one of my biggest goals is to make my students feel more empowered when they leave than when they arrived. Read More
