For beginning adult piano students, I use Alfred's Adult PIano Method. For the more advanced students, music is typically chosen from a variety of sources, so that the student is playing music that is challenging and enjoyable. I studied elementary education but even when I was in the general classroom I used music. I enjoyed making up songs to help different skills and ideas stick.
