I try to pick a song or finger exercises for them each lesson as well as a few exercises where they can develop their reading skills. As the student progresses and has a good understanding of the fundamentals, I begin to introduce solo repertoire that is appropriate for their skill level. While in music college, I grew to start to teaching bass guitar as well as drums. My teaching style is focused yet fun.
