I like to work with students individually for their own goals and skill level. For younger students, we work on msuciality and basics of singing through devleopmentally appropriate (and fun!) songs. Regardless of the student's level, each lesson contains singing repertoire, vocal exercises to work on technique, and musicianship skills. The combination of these elements will depend entirely on the student's needs and desires! When I lived in Florida, I taught piano and voice in American Children Orchestra for Peace .Then, I moved to New York City and began to teach in Public Schools with Afro-Latin Jazz Alliance (ALJA). My teaching experience has been with All About Theatre Company since 2017. Teaching Kids-Teens how to sing, dance and act. I have been teaching private voice for the least year over zoom since the pandemic. Encouraging regular practice and developing a personal vocal exercise routine for every student is something I do for every student, every voice is unique so there is no one size fits all here. During my time in high school I began teaching by tutoring my peers in music performance, music theory, and music history.
