Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for singing! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I try to set realistic goals for my students at each lesson. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs!I encourage my students to practice at least 15 minutes per day and I continually each student new materials to practice( which is age appropriate.) When I work on songs with them, I help them improve their vocal technique by using any methods that they will understand for their own bodies. Because we can't simply touch and manipulate our vocal cords to make sound, my job is to help my students visualize how their body moves and feels when they make a healthy, beautiful sound.
