In the summer of 2009, after my freshman year of college, started what would become an annual "pop-up" voice studio of 20-30 local students in my hometown who would take weekly lessons for the duration of the summer. I can start with scales, and basic warm ups, and move on to songs that they like that is within their level. I want the student to enjoy coming to a lesson, so I will pick songs or they will pick songs that they like, and if I feel they are up to the challenge, we will work on those songs. Read More

I always ask for the students input, opinions on rep, and am always asking them questions to get to know their personalities and other interests. I teach a variety of music to a variety of people, ranging from classical composition to hip-hop songwriting and production, classical voice to pop, rock, and punk vocals, baroque piano to free jazz synthesizers, and maybe noteverything in between, but I try to get close.I have been teaching privately since 2006, with a special focus on teaching both children and adults with special needs.
