An accomplished musician, bandleader and music director as well, Jason has toured both nationally and internationally, having played, performed and recorded with the legendary Lou Reed, international recording artist, Rachael Yamagata, national recording artist and stage/screen actor, Val Emmich and others. Voice methodology is to learn how to make the correct sound on the flow of breath.  One must learn how to breathe whether singing loudly or softly in whichever style or genre the student wants to learn. For all students we will work on breathing technique, vocal technique and applying those aspects into songs that they love to sing. If a student picks out a song that doesn't suit him/her, I will help them find the right song for them - building them a diverse repertoire that they can sing any time and any where, without any struggle. The same applies for my vocal students. We will start with the fundamentals of our vocal instrument, air flow, breath support, and the components of the body that make up the vocal passage so they can understand how singing actually works. We will do vocal warm ups and exercises to open the voice and prepare them for singing. When they are ready, we will work on songs and vocal delivery as well as other techniques such as vibrato, solo's, harmonies, etc. Read More

My teaching experience has been with All About Theatre Company since 2017. Teaching Kids-Teens how to sing, dance and act. I have been teaching private voice for the least year over zoom since the pandemic. Encouraging regular practice and developing a personal vocal exercise routine for every student is something I do for every student, every voice is unique so there is no one size fits all here. I help encourage a students passion in the area of music they are interested in while exposing them to other genres that might help them achieve there vocal goals. Read More
