For begginging piano sudents who are children I typicall being with John Thompson's "Teaching Little Fingers to Play." Once the student has completed their fundemental training we being to introduce more solo repertoire tailored to their interested. We work on one classical and one comtemporary song of their choosing. For adult piano students, we discuss their goals and what they are interested in and I tailor my instruction no matter their instrumental expereince.  For Voice students I asses each vocalist and provide a completley unique one of kind vocal lesson package tailored to the students ability, sound, and experience no matter what that may be. While studying to complete my BA through Cal Poly Pomona, I have had the privilege of touring with Cal Poly Pomona's University Concert Choir for at least three years. I have been heavily involved with this choir for a total of 5 years, and I was appointed as Section Leader for the Sopranos for one term, which meant hard work and dedication almost paid off back then. This was the period of my gigging days because some of these tours were paid tours where all of singers were paid to perform around SoCal. Read More

My music leadership experience began with competitive show choir in 8th grade - voted Student of the Year - and these experiences inspired me through high school! The show choir program director appointed me tenor section leader in 9th grade and Voice Captain in 10th grade for my ability to lead voice sectional rehearsals and provide pianist accompaniment when needed. I am currently a performing arts coach for the Anaheim Union High School District, supporting vocal music and dance program directors with clinician and choreography services. Read More

I usually start my piano and vocal students with playing and singing both major and minor scales while using proper fingering and while breathing properly on this musical journey. On the other hand once a student shows and develops better fundamentail skills, then I'll start introducing intermediate musical concepts and ideals.
