I graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theater from the prestigious College Conservatory of Music at The University of Cincinnati (CCM) in 2016. CCM is the oldest Musical Theater program in the United States, with dozens of students working on Broadway. While pursuing my career on the stage, I have spent the past 5 years teaching private vocal coaching lessons primarily to children 8-18. I would love to help you or your child build confidence in their individual abilities, develop technique and range, and choose songs and repertoire unique to them. Read More

I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and communicate with my love of music. I obtained Doctorate in Musical Art degrees in Piano Performance and Collaborative Piano, and teach in a conservatory in New York City. Performing all over the world has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and my playing was described as soaring with a thrilling panache, and then with great warmth and suppleness. The classes are planned based on the individual's voice range. In general, classes begin with breathing techniques, followed by vocal warm-ups. Students at a beginner level will learn German lieder or Italian songs from the "24 Italian Songs and Arias" from the Schirmer's Publishing. For those at a higher level, we will work on arias from distinct operas and songs from distinct composers. Read More

In the past 6 years I have been teaching groups and privately voice lessons and music theory (topics such as ear traning, solfege, harmony and improvisation). I have experience teaching all levels and ages around Israel, Dublin and the USA - teaching in Hebrew and/or English. I motivate and encourage my students to work and practice as a fun aspect - to let help them develop themselves both musically, physically and also spiritually. Read More

I have a set of vocalises that I have comprised throughout the years. They begin with simple breathing exercises and hums to enable the student to connect to their breath, and move to more intricate scales and arpeggios to develop a strong, even tone. I choose repertoire that students truly enjoy to sing, as I have found that they will make great progress while practicing a song they love. When teaching children, I keep lessons simple and fun, while assigning exercises that they enjoy. Read More

I teach out of instructional books, notably books by Hal Leonard, Mel Bay, and Alfred. Sometimes, I use sheet music print outs, or draft up my own exercises. I go back in forth in a non-conventional manner, adapting accordingly to the student's needs. I like to incorporate exercises and warm ups to improve and enchance technique. I also teach songs that the student would like to learn. I'm very patient and rarely rigid in my approach, although I do stick to a general routine that allows a focused approach to learning. As a multi-instrumentalists, I use a cross disciplinary approach even when a student is only learning one instrument. I do make use of method books for beginners, and the specific book depends upon the instrument, but I have my own methods and materials which I utilize in my lessons. Building a repertoire is encouraged, and I use the material to assist in instructing in theory and musical communication. My students are taught to be self-sufficient, by way of practice, study, and cultivating an "ear." Read More
