Then I will move on to breathing by having the child place their hand on their diaphragm. I will show them that it is the muscle right above their stomach. I am a motivated and fun-loving music teacher of all age ranges. I have been teaching private voice and piano lessons since I was a senior in high school, and I love working with all of my students and watching them grow throughout the course of our lessons. I graduated magna cum laude from The Hartt School in 2001, receiving my BFA in Musical Theatre Performance. Music had always been a passion of mine since I was a child. I began voice lessons at the age of 14, and in high school began to train with Mr. Lawrence Lohman. Mr. Lohman conducted the Kingston High School Choir, as well as taught voice classes. Through his teaching, I was able to develop my voice.
