Usually, when a student first comes to my studio I listen to them sing a series of exercises and then a song so that I can get a good idea of where they are in their vocal development. I also had the opportunity to do a study abroad Opera program with Oberlin in Italy where I was able to study with teachers from the Eastman School of Music.
