I love helping people discover their unique potential and passion for music! It is important to me to understand the complete student; by learning about what inspires a student, I am able to be a better teacher to that student. The music teacher-student bond can be very special, and I strive to make meaningful, positive relationships with all of my students. I am enthusiastic and encouraging to my students, and I am always sensitive to individual needs and learning styles. Read More

I’ve been learning and training for over 15 years in the study of vocal. I’ve performed in Lincoln center, All city Chorus, Latin Jazz ensemble , Carnegie Hall, Kaufman Music School, Queensborough Community College etc. I fell in love with singing when I was very young and I knew this what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So for me to share that to other people that has the same passion as I do. Read More

My instruction is tailored to the specific musical goals and needs of the individual student, however, a students progression is paced by the individual. A significant aspect of my teaching style is my understanding of the various ways in which people learn and the vast amount of tools I utilize to impart information. The balanced acknowledgement of a students strengths and weakness tends to encourage their desire to progress, while setting attainable goals can motivate that process to result continuously. My studio is a place to sound bad. It's a place to make as many mistakes as possible. Your voice may crack, you may hate the way it sounds in your head, but good practice involves failure. If you are in my studio, you are here to work. Practice is not necessarily fun. Everyone wants to leave their first lesson belting for the rafters, but we won't go there until you're ready- it might only ingrain poor habits and set you up for failure down the road. Read More

For beginning students, I typically start with the method book that the child is given by the school Music teacher, making certain that they are at least adequately prepared to play their assigned studies (or pages) for their school Music lesson. I also incorporate playing the Duets provided in that volume, along with the students. I then suggest that they purchase other necessary methods, duets and solos at their local Music Store(s), as they progress, and they will therefore require more advanced Musical materials than that used at their school. I'm an encouraging and driven instructor who happens to also be a Singer-Songwriter and Producer. My curiosity for music started at 3 years old. I've since attended a Edward R. Murrow high school of performing arts where I learned to hone my voice whilst learning guitar. I kept growing in musicianship throughout college, where I had started recording my music. I grew in artistry and performed some of my own works in New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey. Read More

In addition to keeping my skills presentable, these excursions have also provided me with the opportunity to interact with other musicians, young and old alike, with whom I have been able to share my talents and in return, pick up new ones, instruction being one of them. I teach mainly from my home - it is a humble abode, but I find it sufficient for my musical purposes; my current collection of musical instruments encompasses 7 types, 4 of which I am able to offer lessons on.
