From there Ive been working on my masters at the University of Bridgeport in Music Education. I will obtain that degree in December of 2019. I participated in a musical every year in high school and even won 1st and 2nd division awards at our Solo and Ensemble Festival. My teaching started in my undergrad, about 5 years ago when I was required to take a Vocal Pedagogy class as part of my major. From there I fell in love with teaching. I was able to expand on my love as a substitute teacher at Rabun Gap Academy in Rabun Gap Georgia in 2012. There I taught five girls ranging from 8-15. I continued that until 2014, I then took on two colleagues, a girl who was 24 at the time and a guy who was 19 and taught them for a year. Read More
