I enjoy teaching all ages and delight in helping students develop their potential as vocalists and musicians while exploring the creative aspects of interpreting music of all styles. A cheap guitar given to me by my parents for Christmas started this life in a direction that has formed me and sustained me for over twenty years. My love for the music is deep and true and it is, to me, still the greatest joy on the planet. Time stands still for me every time that I pick it up and play. One year after graduating from KD Conservatory, I moved to the Philippines and started my own original band called Alchemy Band. We performed several times a week at local venues. Most of the band members were full-time college students and due to the overwhelming workload, some of the members could no longer keep up with performance demand. I was simultaneously performing with a well-known girl-group called SILK Party Band and eventually became a full-time member performing "Top 40" hits from the 70's to current, 6-7 times a week all over the Philippines. After receiving Bachelor Degrees from two outstanding Chinese Music Colleges and Universities, I performed as a primary singer for a leading Chinese performance orchestra for nearly 15 years. I also won major national and regional singing competitions throughout China, including First Place in the most important national competition.
