I began teaching music in high school, a friend coworker had a son that wanted to learn trumpet and it was a fun way to make money. As I continued into college, I learned that I was able to give lessons to members of the band or choir as an employee to the Adrian College Academic Services Department and I was happy to do so. In addition to Adrian College students, I also gave lessons to local high schoolers (mostly tuba players) and many where featured and scored well in state Solo and Ensemble exhibitions. Read More

These include breathing, posture, and mouth position.These fundamentals stand students in good stead to sing whatever style they choose for the rest of their lives. Soprano, Amanda W. is recently graduated from Bowling GreenState University with her Master's in Vocal Performance. For her undergrad, she attended Eastern Michigan University and received her Bachelor's in Vocal Performance. She attended the Utah Vocal Arts academy over the summer of 2017. For the summer of 2016, she was given a tuition scholarship by the American Institute of Musical Studies to study in Graz, Austria. During the years 2015-2016, she was a young artist with the Pittsfield Opera Theatre and sang with the Dixboro United Methodist Chancellor Choir. Read More
