I am a multifaceted musician, music producer, composer and instrumentalist with diverse musical experience spanning many genres and styles. I graduated from Bard College in 2016 with a degree in music composition. While at Bard, I was involved with the opera workshop and the audio engineering crew. I play six instruments and am able to teach most of them proficiently. Every student is different, especially when it comes to vocal training, so I tailor my lesson plans according to each individual student's ability and needs. I begin with the basics of breath control and work to help each student find their natural voice. I use different vocal exercises to help improve tone and range and then incorporate what we've learned from those exercises into singing songs. I started teaching voice while at Purchase College and then focused on performing and writing, and came back to teaching last year. I use the techniques I've learned from my vocal teachers along the way, as long as my own ideas and perspectives on healthy, correct ways to sing your best.
