Born in Matanzas, Cuba, I have studied voice with Maestro: Joaqun Mor at the Cultural Center Los Corales in Varadero, Cuba since 1994. I am a renowned opera Lyric-Tenor performer as well as a contemporary popular singer. I have received prestigious awards in several fields. In 2002 I appeared as a Soloist Tenor at the Habana-Cuban Metropolitan Main Opera House, Teatro Lrico Nacional de Cuba. As a teacher, I have worked on vocal technique and coached audition material with many fellow actors. I have also worked with high-schoolers on material from musicals. I am a very patient, fun and challenging teacher for all skill levels.  I have small recording studio in my home that I use to make demos for my students, or record lessons and backing tracks. I started teaching in high school. I was a successful performer, so people started asking if I teach. I studied and took online classes to strengthen my musical and vocal knowledge as a 16-year-old. I started teaching and built a successful 20-person studio in California for two years. Because of my time at the Frost School of Music, I have built a studio in Miami as well. Hey! I am a performer, and I love to find various ways to perform as a musician, actor, comedian, and teacher/tutor/mentor. I love to connect and communicate with audiences and/or students through my voice, my jokes, or my instruments. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2012 with a bachelors in Psychology and Theater Arts, and spent much of my time performing on stage in musicals and plays.
