Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for singing/the instrument. Beginning students who are children are introduced to the joy of music not just by singing songs, but in a course that teaches music literacy, vocal technique, and ear training as well. Most importantly, we are having fun while taking this journey. As for older teens and adults, I discover what interests the student and guide my instruction accordingly.
