My way of working the voice in particular is a combination of yoga breathing techniques, the Alexander singing method and the Stanilavsky method of acting. This to achieve a better awareness of the vibration and awareness of the vocal instrument. There are many books on drums and piano or voice. I have to get to know the student to determine what I will use to get better results. It will depend on their age and attitude and initial talent. Also, a lot of kids are busy at school and don't have much time for practice.
