When a student has their "a-ha" moment as they figure out a solution to something they've been grappling with vocally, there is nothing more joyful. I am a third-year undergrad at NYU, studying Music Education with a concentration in instrumental performanceand I love it! Currently, I am working on the last of my classwork before student teaching full time. I hope to graduate in May 2024 with a B.M. in Music Education and my NYSED pK-12 certification. I create a fun and comfortable environment for my students and always encourage them to believe in themselves and enjoy their performances. I have been working with piano and voice students for more than 20 years. My students came from different cultures and backgrounds. Teaching young piano students is my specialty. Many kids are struggling with focus and discipline, so piano is a tool to improve their focus and discipline. Playing Piano is multi tasks, because pianists are reading two different clefs at the same time plus handling the paddle. It takes a great deal of coordination. Read More
