That's why the student and I set goals for the student, whether it's learning a new song, practicing a certain amount of minutes a week, or auditioning for something like a musical or talent show! Setting small goals like these helps the student feel accomplished, and want to continue to work on their new found skills. I have been teaching private voice and piano lessons since I was a senior in high school, and I love working with all of my students and watching them grow throughout the course of our lessons.
