In 2013, I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition, cum laude. I am currently working on my Master of Music degree at The Bob Cole Conservatory at California State University, Long Beach. For stringed instruments, I uses the Suzuki method for teaching the basic repertory of the instruments. This method is an ear training method in which the student plays by ear. It starts out very simple so students of all ages can learn and progress very quickly. When I was in elementary school I found out that reading comprehension was difficult for me and so I had to get tutoring. I was very strong in music and that boosted my confidence in school.
