I loved teaching violin with students for all ages. I'm a self-employed violin and piano teacher. I enjoy playing my violin in other orchestra with Crown City Symphony in Altadena, Corelli Ensemble, Southland Symphony Orchestra and Palos Verdes Regional Orchestra. In 2014, I graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills with a degree in Violin Performance. My great experience is to play as a professional orchestra performance to enjoy myself playing all around the world.
I loved to teach students on playing violin and piano. I enjoy working with my students at my home studio. The experience that I teach is to learn the parts of the music instrument. The students were sometimes understand the music about the notes, parts of the methods and working on the rhythm. Few students were having a little mistake on the body position of the violin and piano. I work with a student to relax their bodies, good posture and attitude. Few students get their position good and making a student confident. I talk to the student to work on their methods seriously like clapping the rhythm, going through the repertoire for their school and writing on down on music terms, fingerging, and listening. I go through my student for violin on looking at the posture of the instrument and the bow. Most students quite because student have other plans and activities. Students were coming to my home studio to learn the music experience just for fun or their hobbies. I enjoy this part-time jobs with my students.
For beginning students, I work with a student for violin on the parts of the instrument and the bow. Few students learn quick on the parts of the violin and the bow. I used the violin books on All for Strings by Robert Frost and Kjos music company from San Diego. I go over the repertoire from a student to play the rhythm slowly and hearing the pitches for the school homework. For adults, I try to work a little hard with violin repertoire on notes, interest on the finger positions and their pace.
Most students were sometimes getting good but sometimes they have a hard time playing with difficult notes that I teach. Some students were getting good on the beginning methods and understanding what the music book is going to read and learn about. I encourage the students to practice the beginning methods seriously for about 30 minutes. If the student is getting a little hard, she can take a break for 10 minutes and go back to the homework. Then, student can go slowly first, look at the music, and then play. In the future for the new students, I will succeed my music career as a private violin teacher for my dreams.
