Music enriches the communities in which we live and expands our capacity to connect with humanity. I studied privately with Philip J. Teibel of the Buffalo Philharmonic from childhood through High School. I toured the Southeast US with the Oberlin College Choir and Orchestra in college. I have privately taught students from ages five to 56. Since I recently came out of college, I have about one year of experience teaching students part time. I also have experience teaching groups of elementary school students the violin. I encourage students to practice a certain number of hours every day according to his or her playing level. My students are encouraged to enter recitals and competitions so they can feel more accomplished and motivated to learn. Read More

During my undergraduate years, I had the privilege to tour in Asia (Hong Kong and Korea) with other string performance majors. My major teachers were Dr. Sarita Kwok and Dr. Susan Kim. I went on to pursue a Master of Music (M.M.) degree in violin performance at Ohio University from 2018-2020, where I have received a full ride graduate assistantship and was a violinist in the Klinder Graduate Quartet. I have helped students achieve their goals as young as 4 years old and into their college years! I am trained in the Suzuki Method, but I also feel comfortable teaching any preference and learning style. I particularly enjoy teaching younger musicians and have focused my work on beginner students, as young as preschool.
