I began student teaching in the late 90’s when I was in high school. I continued to teach on the weekends throughout college and graduate school at Joyful Sounds School of Music. While studying String Pedagogy at Temple University, I taught for the Community Music Scholars Program, a program in conjunction with the Philadelphia public schools allowing low income students to have private lessons at a reduced rate. I played drum set for a touring band, most notably performing at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, I played drum set for my own band, Design The Void, I played guitar for numerous local bands, and performed with my colleagues on mallet percussion in the Mansfield, PA area. With the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, I have had multiple performances in amazing venues as a percussionist: The Library of Congress, Penn State University, City Hall in Philadelphia, and much more. In 2004, I graduated from New England Conservatory with a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance. And also in 2006, I graduates from San Francisco Conservatory with a Masters of Music in Piano Performance. I had performed with a repertoire that stretches from Bach to Liszt to the music of today.
