After students have grasped the basics, I will talk with them to determine their interest in different musical styles and songs. I teach repertoire from the Suzuki Violin School and Barbara Barber's Solos for Young Violinists, I also like to incorporate other styles if the student is interested, such as fiddle and bluegrass, and even pop and Disney songs. I graduated from UNC-SA through both their highschool and collegiate programs.
