I find having a cd or recording to listen to and play along with is a great help. I began learning violin when I was 10 years old through school as well as receiving private lessons. I played first violin in my school orchestra until I graduated in 2014. I also began learning guitar and ukulele when I was 12 through professional lessons as well.
