I am a performing violinist, however I am most passionate about teaching and also playing chamber music. I began my musical studies playing the piano at age 7 and the violin at age 9. As a youth, I served as concertmaster of the South Bay Youth Symphony, Azusa Pacific Symphony Orchestra and Texas Christian University Symphony Orchestra. With the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, I participated in two European tours and had the honor of performing at Cite de la Musique in Paris, the Dvorak Hall in Prague, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig and Amsterdam's Concertgebouw. While I was a student at RCM I was invited take part in the Philharmonia Orchestra Infernal Dance chamber music series and was selected to perform at the BBC Proms and the Palace of Versailles as part of Les 24 Violons du Roy. My teaching experience is quite varied. I've taught young children as a member of Mimi Zweig's pedagogy classes, and I currently teach group classes to 3rd-5th graders here in NYC. I've taught chamber music to teenagers in Indiana University's Summer String Academy and to adult learners in Montreal.
