I was viola section leader during three of my four years at Gaither High School, inspired to pursue music by my orchestra teacher Heather Grier (world-renowned violinist and friend of Andrea Bocceli). After graduating, I attended Hillsborough Community College as a music major, and I landed my first teaching job at Excel Music as a substitute teacher. In the seventeen years he has been immersed in this field, he has been a coach of the violin section of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, and the National Youth and Children Orchestras of Venezuela in preparation for international tours and concerts with renowned conductors such as Giuseppe Sinopoli, Claudio Abaddo, Sir Simon Rattle and Gustavo Dudamel.
