I've recorded more than 20 albums, and performed in many different places. I have been a teacher of kids and adults for more than 10 years in schools and in music institutes, and now I have plans of recording new material. Read More

I have been teaching since my freshman year of college! My teaching career began with a program called "A Gift for Music" Which brought strings education to Title 1 schools. From there I have guided many young musicians through their journey across multiple instruments. Some of which have been offered music scholarships to four-year universities. My number one priority with all of my students is building a solid foundation of fundamentals from which they will be prepared to tackle some of the most difficult repertoire in their discipline Read More

I teach both the Classical and Suzuki methods. I have students of all ages so it varies which student is learning which method. The best for children is the Suzuki method that is widely used in the USA. Classical methods can be used when I teach young adults and adults. It is pretty flexible though and I sometimes teach younger children the classical method. I like challenges and I often have children and older students that express different tempers. Read More

After college, where I acquired extensive experience as a performer, I decided to dive into teaching. I am a fairly new teacher (six months experience), and it has been quite exciting to formalize my methods as I find the style that best suits me and my students. What I have learned most in my time teaching is the importance of games, challenges, and performance opportunities to keep learning fun and to motivate students to strive for that next level. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2019, I graduated from Cornell College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance and Kinesiology Exercise-Science. Performing in different states and islands has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and I've had the opportunity to play on the same stage as Chaka Khan, learning from instructors Itzhak Perlman and the Catalyst Quartet. I like to begin the first lesson by recognizing the students strengths by having them show me what they can accomplish on their own. There are specific books that I like to teach out of depending on the skill level so that needs to be addressed during the first lesson. Recognizing and building on strengths to me should come before criticising weaknesses. Those will be addressed as they come along and exercises with scales and etudes will be chosen for those weaknesses, but that does not mean that challenging music needs to be played each and every time so that the student has to struggle for greatness. When I was a freshman in high school, I was leading the orchestra classes, and preparing the high school symphony for performances. During my time at Dillard center for the performing arts high school, I would volunteer as an after school violin teacher and teach the beginner students to help them read music, and with their technique. I currently teach students of ALL ages, and I also teach students with Special needs such as ADHD, Anxiety, and autism. Read More
