I have been teaching for more than 30 years, mostly in the public schools as well as privately. I have instructed large groups and ensembles, as well as smaller musical groups in and out of the public schools. I am a traditional teacher in that I focus on laying a secure foundation to prevent any unnatural habits from blocking the students progress in the future and helping the student become completely independent of the teacher. I am twenty-two and was raised in a musical household as the second youngest of six sisters and one brother. I recently attained my bachelor degree from SUNY Fredonia in violin performance with a minor in psychology, and will also be receiving my bachelor degree in music therapy from SUNY Fredonia after I've completed my internship at Monroe One Boces which goes from September, 2018 to June, 2019.
