The best for children is the Suzuki method that is widely used in the USA. Classical methods can be used when I teach young adults and adults. After some time, when the student has more of a grasp on the fundamentals and reading music, then I will bring in some basic solo repertoire and music of their choice (Disney, Star Wars, etc.) to inspire them to continue and feel motivated to learn.
