I began teaching in 2014, shortly after graduating high school. I quickly began to enjoy encouraging and mentoring aspiring musicians to keep up with their practices as well as the love for music. Though I was never paid for this work, as I was just fine doing it for free, I learned much about effective and ineffective ways of communication in teaching.
