Together we will create a custom approach so that you will love the experience of playing the music you love.  I will share fun and efficient ways to practice so that you get immediate results. I believe there is no "cookie cutter" method to teaching so I tailor my lessons specifically to each of my students. I have found that having a strong foundation in classical music sets the tone for musical excellence for all styles, regardless of age or musical maturity. From that perspective I like to start all of my students on The Arban's and Herbert L. Clarke Method books for trumpet. Since then, I have also taught lessons to brass player, as well as music theory, ear training, composition, and improvisation, to pupils of all levels and ages. I have also directed sectionals for brass and woodwind players in youth wind ensembles.
