In 2014, I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz/Commercial Trombone Performance. Lessons are tailored to each individual. My teaching methods include a warm-up routine, scales, and etudes or songs from various method books, depending on the skill level of the student. Standard repertoire in classical and jazz studies is also covered. Sight-reading, improvisation, and ear-training are also a part of most lessons. Material that is time-sensitive for the student, such as school music (band/orchestra) as well as seating test/audition music is given top priority. Read More

If the students have music from classes in school, I will also assist them with that. I try to keep the lesson light, and enjoyable! I encourage practicing a little almost every day of the week, and finding what fires you up about the instrument.
