Manhattan-based jazz trombonist Jimmy has a bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Michigan and a Master's Degree from the Manhattan School of Music. While at the University of Michigan, Jimmy studied under Dennis Wilson as well as Geri Allen and Bob Hurst and performed at the Detroit Jazz Festival. I have been regularly teaching Euphonium, Tuba, and Trombone since 2020. I was primary Euphonium staff at 3 High Schools and 5 middle schools. I've taught ages 10-70, and my students regualrly find success at both solo and ensemble competitions, as well as regional and all state bands.
