I began playing trumpet at a very young age, and have found it, and music in general, to be the most valuable means of communication available to us. I graduated from University of Maryland School of Music December 2014, and have played in a number of bands (both jazz and classical), taught private lessons, and worked as a festival clinician for local schools. Most of my experience with teaching has taken place while traveling on the road and helping individuals prepare for recording sessions. However for more than 10 years now, I've rendered my services at neighborhood schools (elementary and high school); music workshops; private homes; and local churches; working with young people as an assistant teacher, private music teacher and/ or teaching artist.
