To this day I work with foreign exchange students. In college I continued my musical studies although I majored in Public Relations. I have performed and recorded with a variety of different groups in Southern California and Texas including the Claremont Symphony Orchestra in Claremont, California, the Point Loma Nazarene University Orchestra in San Diego, California, the Sinfonietta of Fort Worth in Texas, various independent solo artists and alternative bands. I then moved on to teach six years at public high schools in Texas, and then I moved on to teaching at the University level. Throughout that time I have always had a private studio as well. My accomplishments include placing first place in solo and ensemble, marching band contest, jazz band contest, etc. I have also established my own band and group who performs in the DFW metroplex.
