I prefer the Hal Leonard All in One Series or also use Bastien Piano method for piano instruction when teaching children. I feel these curriculums offer a great foundational approach, are well rounded, sequential, and motivating for students. When teaching beginning adults, I teach the basics, always keeping their goal and interests in mind.
