I have discovered all beginning guitar methods are essentially the same, so pretty much any of them will work for a beginner. It is how the individual processes the information! Some people are auditory learners, others are by the note visual learners and others are both. I was an auditory learner, but soon realized I needed the note reading to move ahead with my study.
