He has been invited to perform solo and chamber music recitals at the Aspen Music Festival, Lincoln Center, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and the Peabody Institute of Music. For beginning students I will start with fundamentals, music theory and basic music reading lessons. For more advanced students I teach those same methods but will also apply improvisation and song writing to the lessons with my own “4 Steps to Song Writing” method. My teaching style is just like most I think. I don't rush with the students. Always trying to go slow and make sure the students understands everything. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out when the students get what I'm trying to teach. If I feel like I'm going to fast I'll stop think about what I'm doing and slow down. I find the student is more likely to succeed when I adapt to their individual learning style.
