I have taught general music in three school districts: 10 years in Tomball Texas; 5 years in Huffman Texas and 3 years in Tempe Arizona. In addition to teaching in the public schools, I have been teaching privately for 20 years. I have owned and operated a studio for 7 years. The studio was sold because of the tremendous overhead. I try and do this by heavily incorporating the music that they identify the most with while strengthening their technique with a classical foundation.
