Nothing is more rewarding to me that seeing a student make steady progress in their lessons and feel proud of themselves in what they have accomplished! After determining what the student wants to achieve musically, I will set weekly, realistic goals for the student to meet and to feel accomplished every week by the end of their lesson! Read More

I will introduce a variety of materials to ensure students are developing an appreciation for music of all cultures and styles. Read More

The most rewarding experiences have been watching my students develop a passion for their instrument and cultivate their own voice as a musician. By reinforcing fundamentals as well giving as a thorough, detailed explanation of the hardware and tendencies of the saxophone itself, each week I encourage the student to take the primary role in their progression. I make suggestions and offer the tools for their improvement, but ultimately it is up to them to see what works best for their personal growth. Read More

As she gradually develops a sense of good sound, her playing changed dramatically, and her practice management improved. Read More
