Also, I had the opportunity to work with multiple schools ensembles and marching bands. I encourage all of my students to maintain a constant practice schedule in order to work toward our goals. Initially (and throughout) I place a high value on performance fundamentals. I start with a focus on proper posture and breathing. Once this can be executed I breakdown the nomenclature of the student's instrument, how to put it together and break it down.
