For beginning students I suggest using the Suzuki Method, or Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. I have taught violin for 5 years to beginners and intermediate level students. My youngest student was 4 and my oldest was 65. I have a lot of experience teaching beginner level but I also have experience teaching intermediate levels and some advanced levels as well. I have helped students prepare for orchestra auditions and for recitals. I mostly teach classical level repertoire to give my students a basic foundation of music. It is important for students to learn the classics first to prepare them for other forms of music later on. Read More
