Instruments: Saxophone Clarinet
I'm a passionate musician, with a deep knowledge of many styles of music. I am equally motivated to help my students find success on the saxophone or clarinet, whatever their goals are. I have had the great fortune to play music on 4 continents, and recently played my first show (of hopefully more!) at the House of Blues in Boston, to a sold-out crowd. I have taken hundreds of lessons over the years from masters such as Dave Liebman, Gary Smulyan, and Lynn Klock. Read More

As a recent transplant to Brooklyn, I look forward to using my experience to build a successful portfolio of new students in New York. My goals are to help each student build solid musical and instrumental fundamentals, to guide students in exploring their own personalized interests and passions within music, and to help students develop qualities of confidence, hard work, and empathy that come with experiencing music and will serve them in all areas of their lives. Furthermore, in the area of professional development, I have attended a numerous number of master classes with distinguished professors such as Wenzel Fuchs, Gabor Varga, Frank Cohen, Yuan Yuan, Jonathan Cohler, Philippe Cuper, Mate Bekavac, Paul Mayer. I have been engaged in a wider music community in Serbia and USA as a volunteer clarinet instructor to children with disabilities. Read More

I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2015 and 2017, I graduated from Peter King College of Music and Muson School of Music with Associate degrees in Saxophone and Piano Performance. I am current in my final semester for grad studies in Jazz and Contemporary Music at Longy School of Music, Cambridge MA. Performing across the globe and styles has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and I've had the opportunity to play with different artists both in Nigeria and Boston MA. Instruments: Saxophone Flute Clarinet Piccolo
I am an instructor that focuses on building the whole musician. I can teach multiple disciplines including classical, baroque, jazz, latin jazz, Brazilian, rock, middle eastern, and others. In the last several years I have learned about flute pedagogy and teaching artistry from Marco Granados, audition repertoire and standard repertoire from the BSO's Clint Foreman, and baroque flute/period performance from Na'ama Lion. My philosophy is that flute instruction should extend beyond western concert music and conventional repertoire to build versatile musicians prepared for the modern musical world through a Socratic teaching method that builds the desire to learn. Instruments: Saxophone
It was because of this grant that I was able to attend the Boston University Tanglewood Institute for Saxophone Performance, where I took lessons and studied with some of the North Shore's greatest saxophonists, such as Ken Radnofsky and Jennifer Bill. For several years in a row, I have attended the Massachusetts Music Educators Association conference and took a variety of different masterclasses centered around education and musicianship. In the future, I would like to return to college to get a Master's Degree in Music Education, and continue to take inspiration from the music educators before me. Read More

For beginners, I have a multitude of etudes, simple songs, and exercises to encourage sight-reading, finger comfortability, and basic cognitive understanding of music fundamentals such as scales. For guitar, I usually begin with fun simple songs such as "What do we do with the Drunken Sailor" and a simple blues. For woodwind instruments, I'll typically begin with songs such as Hot Cross Buns, Mary Had a Little Lamb, or some holiday songs during the holiday season. Read More
