I keep all lessons fun and casual, but stress the importance of hard work. I always encourage daily practice sessions, even if just for 15 - 20 minutes. Repetition is key! While in this position, Anthony performed in Concert Band, French Woods Symphony, and in up to 12 musicals per summer. During that time, he also taught multiple private lessons and sectionals to campers on a variety of woodwind instruments. In 2012, Anthony was invited to join the “Phantom of the Opera” International Tour for their run in Jakarta, Indonesia. Following the successful run of the show, he returned to the United States and joined Northern Stage in White River Junction, Vermont for both of their main stage musicals of the 2012-2013 season. I have focused on sound production, saxophone technique, ear training, music theory, and repertoire in lessons. I keep an open mind as a teacher and do not try to push students into playing music that they are not interested in.
